Lets create together
At Peel Studio, workshops are an invitation to slow down, look closely, and discover the abundance hidden in everyday materials.
Each session explores weaving, natural colour, material experimentation, and mindful making. Participants are encouraged to work with curiosity rather than perfection, creating with their hands while rethinking what we value and what we throw away.
Peel Studio has delivered workshops for galleries, festivals, schools, libraries, and community spaces including Kew Wakehurst, South London Gallery, The Sloane Club, Battersea Library, Art'otel London, and Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School. These sessions have welcomed participants of all ages and backgrounds, from young people and families to students, artists, and curious makers.
No two workshops are the same. Some focus on weaving with reclaimed textiles, others on natural dyes, biomaterial yarns, felting, or collective textile making. What connects them is a belief that creativity can begin with what is already around us, and that making together can open up new ways of seeing, learning, and connecting.
Whether you are a school, gallery, festival, organisation, or community group, Peel Studio offers workshops that are tailored to your audience and space. Please drop in a message to know more.
Winter Weaves
In this festive session you will learn to create bio yarns made from organic kitchen waste and seaweed. We will also take a gentle walk through Kew to gather winter textures such as twigs, seed pods and leaves. These materials will form the palette for your woven artwork. This session focuses on slow preparation, mindful making and the quiet beauty of the season.
